Qian Haixia, a pianist, teaches at the Conservatory of Music, Qingdao University. She is Vice President of the Piano Professional Committee of the International Musicians Association (IMA), a member of the California Music Educators Association (CME), and a jury member for the Asia-Pacific region of the United States Open Music Competition (USOMC). She earned her doctorate at the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts in the Russian Federation, under the supervision of Ivan Ilykovsky, a talented pianist and chairman of the Russian State Examination Commission.

Her performances are sincere, delicate, rich in tone, and full of musicality—especially in the works of classical composers such as Haydn and Mozart, Romantic composers like Chopin, Schumann, and Brahms, and Soviet composers, notably Prokofiev. Professor Raisa Evgenievna Ilyukhina, an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, once said: “Her technique is brilliant, and her understanding of musical content is accurate and profound.”
