Matyáš Novák, a talented young pianist and a member of PETROF Art Family, will perform in Bangkok on November 22nd and 23rd.

The first concert will take place at the Alliance Francaise, the next one at the most prestigious Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. The concerts celebrate the 30th anniversary of the fall of communism in Czechoslovakia and the 25th anniversary of the Presidential visit of Václav Havel to Thailand.

The concert at Chulalongkorn University is also a part of the Bangkok International Piano Festival 2019.

Our Thai business partner Peterson Piano Gallery will lend a PETROF grand piano for the concert.

At Alliance Francaise, Matyáš will perform the combination of Czech and French compositions. He will play Czech compositions of Bedřich Smetana, Antonín Dvořák, and Jaroslav Ježek, French compositions of Claude Debussy and the joint work of Charles Gounod and Hungarian composer Ferenc Liszt.

The concert at Chulalongkorn University will present a work of Czech origin in the form of several works by Bedřich Smetana. Furthermore, compositions by Ferenc Liszt, Charles Gounod, and Geatean Donizetti.

To celebrate the anniversary of the fall of Communism and the visit of Václav Havel to Thailand, a selection of photographs will be installed in the nearby concert auditorium. They are commemorating the year 1989 and one of the most important personalities of the modern history of Czechoslovakia and later the Czech Republic.

We kindly invite you to both concerts!
